Say Hello To George

George is a contractor at our place. Working on a new project we have, helping to develop the early stages of a design.

George is now the odd one out. I guess 10 years ago he would have been part of a reasonable group, but nowadays the number of smokers seems to be dwindling quite dramatically.

Don't get me wrong, as a non smoker I love the smell of fresh air, but it just struck me how it doesn't seem that long ago that you would have seen a group huddled around outside smoking fags.

As I grew up I can remember my Dad coming home from the office, and the paperwork in his briefcase would have the smell of manilla envelopes and Silk Cut.
