Red Admiral resting on Rudbeckia

I had almost given up hope of finding any butterflies in Pollok Park but today in the walled garden in Pollok Park I spotted this Red Admiral ..... not a breath of wind so flowers remained perfectly still ..... ideal for me as I took my photo.

Another incredibly hot afternoon/evening and along with the plants in the garden I feel that I'm wilting.
