When the mist burned back....

the Dorback was revealed at its lowest for years. Crossing here is sometimes impossible and mostly difficult but today didn’t even require a wee jump. The Sand Martin’s have extended their nesting areas yet again. There was a large colony on the biggest sand hill and four years ago they established a second site upstream and this year they have excavated opposite here and at a fourth site, so they are obviously doing well.
Perhaps this is what SJR was surveying!!! Ha, ha!
A scorcher again this afternoon.
We had an outdoor painting meet this morning and it was a bit miz so we went to a covered patio. It was better because we got coffee and cake too!!
