The master with a former champion

A great evening of drinks and pool at the Sidestreet Bar culminates with the appearance of two pool sharks. Robert (bearded) is neither nimble nor agile, shuffling awkwardly round the table before casually pulling off some remarkable shots. He hasn’t lost a game here in months apparently .... not sure if that says more about him or the state of the opposition at midnight on Saturday. Trevor (semi masked) in contrast is more serious, carefully lining up his shots with his custom carbon fibre cue then annoyingly arguing over every detail of the rules.
Other notable events include Lions winning the first test and, most special, Nesta’s sixth birthday ( but I’m not there to witness it)
