Pick your own raspberries
We went to Cattows Farm, somewhere near Ashby, with the intention of exploring the corn maze. But it was far too expensive so we picked raspberries instead.
We spotted two people dressed in beekeeper costume with smoke guns. As we got to the end of the rows of canes, we realised why. A horde of agitated bees was flying about. Perhaps a swarm of bees had settled in the maize. I didn't stop to find out.
Very poorly organised there. They know lots of people come so you'd think they'd supply seating but no. And you had to queue up at the drinks counter to get your punnet weighed.
William had a little picnic of his own in the grass. Then we drove home where we had raspberries and ice cream.
