Morning beauty

I went out early to water the garden and the morning sun was highlighting the sunflower that is just starting to bloom. The garden behind it was in shade, and it showed up beautifully. I blipped the sunflower on July 19 when it looked like it was going to bloom soon. 
Today is our daughter's birthday. Happy Birthday, Renata! The sunflower has bloomed just in time for your birthday! 
I did a bit of work in the garden, then G and I FaceTimed with Renata. The house needed a good cleaning, so I got on with that and had a quick break to take lunch up to G and Bill. Hopefully the work on the doors will be finished today.
