Boots, not shoes

The March challenge for today is shoes. Not having an interesting pair of shoes to blip, I decided to go for these gumboots. Got a pair of worn out boots? Don't toss them - nail them to a tree and recycle them as your address sign. I chuckle every time I walk by these.
Salt Spring and gumboots - tonight at the local hall, the folk club is putting on the annual Gumboot Gala, hosted by well-known local musicians Valdy and Bill Henderson. Every year we think about going ... maybe next year.

Shoepidity: the act of wearing ridiculously uncomfortable shoes just because they look good. :D
