The Best Laid Schemes ...

I met up with my pal John for a bite and a pint. Our idea was that sunset and high tide would be at 9 o'clock and might provide a good photo opportunity. The plan was made when summer was in full swing so unfortunately the weather yesterday was not quite what we had in mind. The other point was that it was impossible to get to the foreshore at high tide because the railway's in the way and you can't get under the tunnels when the tide's in.
Never mind, we had a good old gas and if the photography didn't come to much, well that's OK.

My blip is the view across the river estuary from Exton Station. The structure across the river is the Belvedere tower at Powderham.
