Slightly Spring

You wouldn't guess it, but this quiet country shot was taken right next to the A17, between Roosendaal and Moerdijk, near the Standdaarbuiten access road. There is actually a narrow country road leading to this farm, but I am somehow careful about shooting someone else's property from a close distance. I don't know the folks who live here and don't want to risk offending them or making them suspicious. On my way to work, though, and if it's sunny enough, it appears to be a really quiet spot; wild grass, ducks, duck pond, sky, and the wide, flat but pregnant fields all around.

Speaking of the sun, it was out today, true, but on the shy side, as if it didn't yet know that we're way past the middle of March now.
