Feathery!

A gorgeous day, I headed home with the car filled late morning…car emptied, lunch and sat enjoying the sunshine.

Just been for a walk along the prom to get some steps in and find a blip. At the end of the beach is a tunnel which was a drainage outlet from the Berwick Colliery which closed in 1944. Rusty, acidic water often flows into the sea from the old workings…staining the rocks on its way. I found the tiny feather immortalised and liked the contrasting colours.
