Hazlehead Park

The day started very overcast and dark. Although we have not yet had the storms forecast a couple of days ago the weather is definitely changing. In the afternoon it felt slightly cool when I was out.

Hazlehead Park was not very busy. The weather was obviously keeping people away. It was time to check on the rose garden in case we have some really heavy rain (now forecast for tomorrow).

I think the roses are as good this year as I have ever seen the. Judging by the number of petals that have already fallen I should maybe have come last week when the roses may have been even better.
