The person on the till in B&Q could not scan my “stick timber” (?) because there was no label on it. I volunteered to go back to look for a labelled one. There were none. An assistant suggested that I photoed the shelf label. I did so and the till person scanned it in from the pic on my phone!

Isn’t life grand?
