The Ducks Symbolise Tiananmen Square

Indeed all brutal crackdowns .When democracy goes, much else does .A brave man stood in front of  a tank ( you can just see him  here ) He was sentenced to death for doing that .Simply standing .Each morning the ducks are inflated and come evening deflated. ( see extra )There is a cafe and a wonderful gallery of photography .Something the Chinese Government loathe , more so when they knew the man had been filmed .To this day I'm baffled why any country does business with this regime. Their track record is shocking . ( however the monetary bribes are lucrative ) For me ,cheap shoddy goods made by slave labour do not warrant buying .
