Sometimes events make you seize the day.My friend Pete has been in hospital today for a four hour operation to remove a tumour from his brain.I couldn't get hold of the hospital to see how it had gone (switch board staff had left before 4.30pm).Very relieved when he text this evening and we exchanged a lot of messages.

Helen has wanted to ride with me for the last couple of years and this morning we decided to do it.

Becky has not been so well.Doctors told her to ring 111 and they told her she needed to see a doctor ASAP.However since covid all our local GPs have run away to hide so she had to go to the local walk in centre which luckily is private run and fully operational.

Weather still very hot and sticky.
