Contrasts

Lewis is an island of contrasts. Some houses are dull and boring while others are straight out of Dallas and could be called pitchfork! There's more churches than you can shake a stick at with amazing carparks and congregations of hundreds!. I don't know why they build their houses alongside the roads, my pal says it's so they can have more land at the back! I drove over the Barvas Moor which is so boring I almost fell asleep. All these lovely old peat bogs now silent and ghostly. I found a beauty parlour ( think hut) on the moor. You would have to be hell of an ugly or vain to travel such a distance for your peatbog facial!. They have amazing gardens with all manner of stuff, horse, boats, plastic cows knights in armour etc and finally my favorite a yellow Fergie tractor.
