Ariadne (again)

We were at Biddulph Grange Gardens this morning - my blip is Ariadne taking a moment out from observing the huge fish in the ornamental pond.

A fascinating place - the fossil and geology gallery is particularly interesting as it shows someone trying to balance the conflicting ideas of creationism and Darwinism as it appeared to the people of the time ... well, those who had the time/education/wealth etc to worry about that sort of thing.

Our daughter has blipped one of the fossils displays.
