Out with the girls

We had a restaurant booked for tonight but decided we would rather not so one of the group offered to cook and we got together at hers. Should have been six of us but one got pinged so in isolation. We sat outside until the rain started and then moved into the conservatory with windows open. We all did lateral flow tests this morning and all doubled jabbed so felt safe.
Daughter sent me a message with a photo of a school project that has appeared on the green line near our house. It’s a book we both have and it’s the school she attended from age 7 to 11.
Looks very interesting so I am going up tomorrow to have a look for myself.
Got home just before ten and from Hetty’s reaction it felt like I had been away for four weeks not four hours.
