Birthday

Today was my birthday; nothing special was done, just a relaxing day mostly at home. We ate birthday ice cream cones at the Sorsapuisto park while Emma was training (not fair for Emma!).

Mercury overcame the 30-degree barrier today. June and July have seen record average temperatures recorded at almost all measuring stations in Finland. This summer has also seen the longest spell of hot weather (defined in Finland as a temperature over 25 degrees Celsius).
