Playing in the surf

We went down to Findhorn beach this afternoon to have a swim. It was quite windy and the waves were bigger than I had expected. I brought a boogie board to try out which was easier said than done. I managed to catch a few waves which brought me all the way to shore. Our son enjoyed playing in the small waves where it was shallow. We put him on the boogie board and he road his first very small wave. These are some of the tank traps that were part of the WW2 coastal defences. The danger sign is referring to the cliff below which where the sea has eroded away the soil.
