Deer in the Grass

Today we celebrated my brother-in-law, Carl,  who passed away in January. He loved Sunriver so the family gathered here to spread his ashes and remember him. It was uncharacteristically rainy today, but it didn’t matter. We shared stories, laughed and cried, and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. I took this with my phone  from quite a distance; it was one of Carl’s favorite spots on the river. 
Grateful today for….family.
