2021 — 2nd Tuesday with Tristan

After scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast, Mr. Fun said, “Let’s go to San Luis Obispo today.” Tristan and I thought that sounded like an adventure.

We wanted to stop at several thrift stores, a Dollar Store, and the Staples Store to find color pencils. We also stopped at French Park so the pups could feel like they mattered too.

We’ve been living under a ceiling of gray cloud/overcast sky for at least a week so we thought heading east from the coast to bright sun and blue skies would be a mood enhancer. It was, sorta. The surprising ingredient was the heat. It was 80 degrees F and we were hot. The pups were very uncomfortable. Returning to the coast was a relief.
