Took this afternoon off to sort out some things following the death of my mum’s partner at the weekend. After her death a few years ago, he had stayed on living in her house under a trust arrangement. There’s a bit of work now to unpick that arrangement and empty and sell the house. There’s a lot of mum’s stuff there still. I managed to get through some phone calls this afternoon and made a start on finding a solicitor - I don’t particularly want to use the one I used before as I wasn’t that impressed with them.
