Upper Mill Ottobeuren

Evening walk with Luna starting at the former grain mill of the Ottobeuren Benedictine Abbey from 1483 to 1803 when Napoleon invaded these parts and secularised the property of the church. Ottobeuren Basilica has since been owned by the Bavarian State.

I'm not sure if the mill was sold to a private person or is rented, but at least part of it is lived in by a farming family. The Mill part seems to have been abandoned.

There is another mill in the centre of Ottobeuren but also not in use.
