Awash with butterflies

I've been over the back, in-between showers, and found a number of different species of butterflies enjoying the thistles.

Small Copper, Meadow Brown, Large Heath, Large & Small Whites, Peacock, Gatekeeper, White-lettered Hairstreak, Silver-Washed Fritillary are the ones I can remember.

This fritillary was particularly co-operative, as was the hand-held white-lettered hairstreak in my extra.
