Moon rise

My wife and her mother were at their uncle's/brother's funeral today. They did think it would be only them, but two other of his siblings turned up - one like my mother-in-law having driven more than half way across France to be there. I gather it went as well as could be expected. Tomorrow they will drive back to me in Brittany.

My mother-in-law's dog had all his walks today, and after the final one of the day I went to finish off a few things. I noticed that the moon had risen rather prettily over a neighbour's house so took this picture. Sadly there is rather a lot of noise as it's hand held and the digital speed is rather high.
