Eyes Up

I can’t say I spent more time than it took to take this photo looking at the ceiling of the Ivy restaurant this lunch time. I was more concerned with the very tasty curry which was on my plate.

I was meeting a fellow Zoomer before we made our way to a face to face meeting at Maggie’s - the first one not on Zoom.

It was strange not to recognise people we have seen on Zoom for all these months when we initially met today wearing masks . The eyes above the masks didn’t make for recognition, we needed the whole face for identification.

We only had one and a half hours of rain this morning before the sun came out- so much for all the warnings of Edinburgh having disruption due to thunderstorms.
