The Stand: Red Raw

After a day of blizzards, MrsCyclops and I ended up in The Stand for an evening of new comedy. Mostly new acts, some doing only their second ever gig! Most of them did pretty well.

The "headliner" was Ro Campbell who we saw in the Fringe last year and really enjoyed. It was interesting to see him trying new material off scraps of paper... Some of it he seemed to give up on before he even tried selling it to the audience... He was at his funniest when he was either improvising or using material he was comfortable with, but some of the new stuff showed promise too!

Maybe we'll see him again in the festival this year...
