Raindrops on Roses

We've just had a short, sharp shower with hailstones. The roses have been taking a battering but luckily his one hasn't quite opened enough to lose its petals yet and there are loads of buds still to open. 
I've started packing for our holiday on Friday. Packing for this country is soooo much harder than a holiday abroad especially when the forecast seems to be changing on a daily basis. D has already started nagging me about taking too much stuff.
