The Group of Five

My sister and I noticed a group of five loons together out on the water this morning.   This is rather unusual as loons are usually seen as one lone bird or in groups of two.    
We watched them as they swam into the bays at the back of the island and took some photos as they went by, but as they got into the small bay things soon started to happen.    There were cries from the loons that we had never heard before, a  lot of splashing and very aggressive behaviour.  This was very unusual for the loons and my sister and I had never seen anything like it before.   Things soon settled down again however, and the loons left the back bays and continued on their way.    
My sister and I took many photos but most of them didn't turn out very well because of the distance we were from the loons.   The ones I blipped are the best I had.
