Heat and Gardening

Having been away for 5 days there was a lot to fix in the garden. However, the weather was still really hot so there just short bursts of activity until it started to cool down a little.
One of the short bursts of activity was harvesting the peas, which reached (and in some cases passed) their peak of perfection while we were away.  Where normally we would have eaten breakfast we just shelled and ate peas, many peas!
What a treat!
