After the storms

More torrential rain. Motorways closed due to landslide. We drove to Bellinzona to collect our new car number plates, now that our new residence permits have arrived. Some very kind man helped me remove the old ones and replace the new ones! So we are beginning to feel settled.
Late afternoon out came the sunshine. I took my road bike out for a lakeside ride. M walked down to the lake. Spirits lifted. A good day.
