Someone has stolen the tower !!

We drove along the coast road today passing through Slapton, infamous for the loss of hundreds of American soldiers in WW2 due to a friendly fire incident and an attack by German E boats in a total cock up by allied forces. We ended up at a small village called Blackpool ( didn’t know there was another), Having paid £8 for the car park we walked along the beach to a quiet spot where we spent a few hours eating lunch and taking some pictures.
