Weybourne Beach
It has been a varied and interesting day although not quite as planned. We started with Baconsthorpe Castle, more a fortified manor house, and better than anticipated.
Then on to Blickling Hall to walk round the grounds and see the Jacobean Mansion - all excellent but very busy. The next intended stop was to see a round, derelict tower from my book of Wild Ruins. I did actual 'see' it but we couldn't get near enough - there was a very narrow, rough lane which might have got us closer but we weren't taking the motorhome down that and I'm not sure I'd even have taken a car!
Too late for Felbrigg (maybe tomorrow) so onto Sherringham for fish and chips. Nowhere to park along the front so we grabbed the food and went along to Weybourne Beach to eat. Shingle beach but great light on the cliffs and then some amazing skies with rain and spectacular rainbows. We waited for sunset but it didn't materialise - too much cloud.
Moving on East tomorrow and will need some essential supplies!
