A Happy Ending

I had seen several notices around the village over the past week or so appealing for people to look out for a missing cat. So, I was delighted to see today that the very same notices now proclaim that Stanley had been found. I must say Stanley is a very distinctive looking cat and I'm sure his owners will be mightily pleased to have him back home. I know how distraught we would be if our cat, Rocky, went missing. We have fitted trackers to his collar in the past to see how far he roams. Not too far it would seem, although he has managed to lose two trackers so far. Since we have let parts of our lawn grow to encourage the wild flowers and, with them, the  bees and butterflies,  he has tended to spend more time in the garden hiding in the long grass.
