Good news!

We had an early morning trip to Forth Valley NHS hospital   inLarbert for M to have a scan of his carotid arteries followed by visit to the  Stroke Clinic. Then he was given the news that it’s all clear.
 
What a relief!
 
In a discussion with the stroke doctor though M learnt an interesting fact. Its important to keep hydrated, especially in hot weather, otherwise your blood thickens and it could lead to a blood clot. Well, we have just had some very hot weather.  Also he was told that the fact he is on warfarin protected him from having a stroke. Even though this is an old fashioned drug he is to remain on it.
 
Thank you all for your suggestions for our new cat. 
Most kind and generous .  It has helped to clarify my thoughts . I am waiting to see what his character is like.
Other names now thrown into the ring are: Jasper, Prince and Tan-toes.
We have got to make a decision soon…. do keep those names rolling in.
