Continental Divide at Wilkerson Pass
Having grown up on the East Coast I did not pay much attention to the Continental Divide. But now that I live in a state that has one I find it intriguing. Right at the place where I was standing to take this photo the direction in which water flows changes. The photo was taken shooting west, so the water flows from my toes to the Pacific Ocean in the west. But the water from my heels flows east. How cool is that! And the elevation at Wilkerson Pass is only 9,508 ft.
