Reverse Parking

The ships parked here next to Market Street all use reverse parking. Some years ago I was told some of the ships moored here are available for immediate charter, and can be ready to sail in an hour or so.

Perhaps the frontage of the Aberdeen Harbour Board to the left of the picture is just about the only building with any significant architectural merit in this area. There is little chance of a UNESCO listing to replace Liverpool dock.

A rare visit to the centre of town today. I think I have only been around here a couple of times in the last fifteen months. I was fairly early so there were not many people around, or maybe that is normal now.

Weather was bit changeable. I just managed to miss a heavy shower around midday.
