Galadriel's Mirror

This is my kind of summer; cool, dappled light under woodland leaves, beside a magical pool where things might be seen...

I encountered this space while waiting for an MOT on Mollie Camper (which she passed, obviously, she's a good girl). Walking in a random direction from the test centre in Cromhall I took to whatever footpath signs and kissing gates I could find, and eventually ended up beside the gates to Tortworth Lake (this is not it of course, it's only open to the public once a month in the summer). Then it was turn around and climb back up through the woods again.

The sub theme for Abstract Thursday is "summery/wintery". Well down there it's winter and relatively speaking, it's upside down. Turn this shot over and you'll realise the tree leaves are all reflected in the pond!
