"Back" blipping.

There is currently an unexpected interlude in my ability to see Lou.

Whilst in Majorca last week I fell in the shower and hurt my back. Having returned home I became increasingly concerned.  After a few days in Lancaster Royal Infirmary I have been discharged home with a back brace as I have sustained a compression fracture to my L2 vertebrae. I'm fine and so long as I stay fairly still for a while, the prognosis is good.

It does mean that I can't visit Lou for a while as I can't be sure I haven't picked up Covid on the ward.....and she needs to be Covid free for a procedure next week. You couldn't write it !!
