The birds.

The goldfinches have returned, and the starlings are multiplying.

Another mixed day of weather.
At the moment sunny, but breezy.
The temperatures have certainly dropped.
Rain overnight but none today.

Farm shopping this morning.
We don’t watch James Martin’s Saturday Kitchen, but apparently he was using rhubarb from their farm, and Robert Tomlinson ( nickname Rhubarb Rob!) was on the programme, via video link, showing how the rhubarb is grown in the sheds.
Came home and watched it on Catchup.
He is also going to be on with The Hairy Bikers later in the year. Nice to see him getting recognition for all the hard work he puts in.

You will be pleased to know she was feeling much better today. Unfortunately still hasn’t got her taste back.
She can differentiate between sweet and savoury, and can certainly taste salt.
Had a Chinese takeaway, and she said all she could taste was salt. Hadn’t realised how much they put in the food!
I was pleased to learn that they had two boxes of food delivered from Uni.as they were isolating. Nice to know they are being looked after.
Hopefully her taste will return soon.
