Posh picnic venue

My parents took us for a picnic in Buckingham Palace Gardens today.

It was all very lovely and weirdly felt very ‘normal’ to be sitting on the Queen’s lawn with our sarnies. I guess we are just all so familiar with this scene... and we’ve been to lots of stately homes to look around etc (English Heritage, National Trust, etc). But it was very special too... how many princes and princesses had walked where we were today?

We viewed the parts of the garden we were allowed into, had an ice cream on the terrace and used the poshest portaloos ever!
