Dancing Peacocks

It was a rare treat to travel to the Windsor venue and the Fowl Arena to watch Team Peacock  warm up for the pairs dancing. The neck extensions were stunning, not to mention the costumes! Tom Peacock is keeping his costume under wraps, perhaps because he doesn't want to reveal it in front of  one of the chicken observers staying discretely in the shadows.  A publicity shot taken earlier shows what he is capable of!* Timing will be key and the cooperation of his partner, Henrietta, will be essential. Excitement is building around the venue...but so is controversy which seems to be swirling around these games.

Is peacock dancing really a sport?

Here at the Wildwood venue Team Dog's trainers are attempting to enforce a rest day in the training schedule on the theory that overtraining can affect performance adversely. This has been quite easy for Blake whose specialty is prone gymnastics, but less successful for Spike. He seems to be like the elite bike riders who go for training rides on their days off and never walk if they can ride a bike. The only way to break his training schedule is to hide all of his Kongs.
