spa day

I know this isn't a good photo (a very quick iPad snap on the way back to the car!) but it was such a lovely day I wanted to share/record it.
I picked up a very dear friend and we headed up to Glasgow. A bit of shopping (of course!) a yummy tapas lunch then a taxi to the Hilton for a swim/ jacuzzi then a lovely massage and facial- I love the online deals!
Taxi back to George square and the Millennium Hotel- a table in the conservatory looking out on the square, love all the lighting on the buildings, watching the interesting characters going by (very quickly as it was very cold!) and the soft gentle snow landing on the many statues. This is the city chambers which is lit particularly well. A yummy dinner and a chat about our travels then back across a very snowy fenwick moor to home.
