Lockdown in Scotland

Today day we were able to get out of the house and explore a little bit of Scotland. We couldn't go very far, but we were able to go see Culzean Castle. It took me ages to say it properly - as I was pronouncing it as it was written. I must get used to this Celtic writing. 

We spent the day walking around the castle grounds and learning bits about when and why the castle was built. It was a much needed break from sitting in the house, and I was so dumb founded by how gorgeous it was. That's the thing about Scotland. Everywhere you look is gorgeous. Well, not everywhere. I've learned about where the neds and jekkies go, BUT mostly everywhere is jaw droppingly stunning. I honestly can't get enough of it. 

Although I wished we would've been able to explore Scotland more, we will be back.
