Pork walk talk hedgehog

Went on an organised tour today. We currently have friends over here on holiday and so we tagged along with them. It took place in the south of the island in St Peter’s. It was run by a local company called Wallow. They breed rare pigs and they combine that with a stroll around the lanes and a really informative talk about the German Occupation of Guernsey and how pigs, cows and other livestock fitted into that period of time. Then you go back to a local hotel to sample some wallow charcuterie and a delicious pie and mash dinner. Yummy! Oh and the hedgehog was in the kitchen on our return! Harry helped him back into the garden using the oven gloves!
