A mangled Magpie.

This young Magpie has been coming to the garden . I noticed it struggled alot to maintain it's balance.  

As I looked closer it was easy to see. This poor bird has , had an awful accident.  It has a broken leg/ pelvis, the leg stick out awkwardly underneath it and also an injury to its wing .
 
My first thoughts were to capture it and offer aid but it can still flying, although cumbersome.  
I spotted it again on a nearby roof along with it's siblings . They all look young with some fluffy,  downy feathers. 

Dont think I've got a hope in catching it . Survival of the fittest, I suppose.
