We had a nice relaxed morning with plenty of time to prepare for a special farewell in the evening. One of the SA Dubai core members, Shingi, is leaving to take up a new post in Doha. The SA would not normally do an individual farewell like this, but as these are exceptional circumstances (COVID), we met up in a restaurant to have a last meal with him.

I  chose Vivaldi in the Sheraton Dubai Creek for its views and location. It went down well. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions meant our small group of 12 weren't able to sit at one table.

Margaret and Jeff travelled down from Abu Dhabi for it and I drove them to the venue. We called in at Icons in Wafi for a quick coffee before I dropped them home. It had just gone past midnight, so straight to bed when I got home.
