Droplets

The rain has fallen again today -  sometimes lightly and steadily and occasionally as a short, sharp downpour.  The world looks greener already - and it's nice to smell the dampness in the garden.  It's even kind of nice to feel a bit of coolness in the air though I still prefer the warmth!

I've spent tonight trying to figure which one of a narrow band of acceptable replacements I will decide is the best option to fill the black hole that was created a few weeks ago.  The cooler weather has been the encouragement I need to take my head out of the sand and start to look seriously at making a decision . . . .
