Wroxeter Roman City

I wonder if the Romans enjoyed the British summertime too?

On the way back from my hols in Shropshire I called in to visit Wroxeter on the recommendation of a friend. Rather superb it was too, even if the weather didn't oblige.

In the extra you can see a good view of the site and the large wall I sheltered behind during the worst of the rain while everyone else disappeared; when I say everyone I think there were only six or so people.
