Crab

Some years ago PY and I used to get a delivery of fresh fish from a company based in Shropshire. It was delicious and high quality. It always made me laugh that we sourced some of the best fish we’d eaten from a land-locked county. A few weeks ago we were put in touch with another fish delivery service by PY’s mum. As a result, a box of fresh fish arrived a couple of days ago and there seems to be a lot of it. Although these things can seem expensive, when we looked closely every portion is easily sub-divided and so works out not much more expensive than buying from the supermarket and we’re much closer to the source. We always used to add a portion of shell fish to the order and this time around we did the same thing, And so, tonight’s dinner was crab salad. And it was delicious. Our only quibble was that this company seemed to use much more plastic in their packaging. Fortunately, we’re recycling.
